N-Liner™ is a cured-in-place pipe system used to rehabilitate
deteriorated pipeline. Commonly referred to as
CIPP. It is comprised of a non-woven, needled
polyester felt tube which is saturated with a thermosetting
resin and when cured becomes a new pipe within the old
pipe.
Installation begins with the cleaning and
televising of the pipeline and once completed the inversion
process can begin. Inverting the liner into the old pipe
starts with inserting the liner into a standpipe that is
securely suspended directly above an existing manhole. The
liner is turned inside out and attached to the bottom of the
standpipe.
Water or air is added to the standpipe to
provide the necessary head pressure to invert the liner
through the old pipe.

Once N-Liner™ is in place, thermocouples
are placed at both ends to monitor the temperature of the
curing process. The temperature of the water or air inside
the liner is then slowly elevated and circulated to transfer
the appropriate amount of heat to cure the resin.
After the liner has cured, lateral lines are
reopened with a remote-controlled, robotic cutter.
